Priority
Coupon priority determines which coupon will be used when the customer redeems multiple coupons for a single product. The highest priority number will be used, 9 (nine) being the highest.
Note: By selecting the "unique" option from the priority menu, the coupon will always be used, even if other discounts apply to the same item.
Note: If a product has a built-in quantity discount, that discount is assumed to have a priority of -10. Therefore a coupon will always override an item discount.
Note: If two coupons tie for the same priority, then the first coupon entered into the shopping cart will be used. |
